• Sat, June 22 : Garden Tour

  SA (6/22), 9am-4pm - The EMG Garden Tour will feature six gardens in the north Asheville area. Proceeds benefit school garden grants. Held rain or shine. $20/$15 in advance.

• Wed, May 15 : Gardening in the Mountains

  3rd WEDNESDAYS, 10am - Gardening in the Mountains lectures will be offered at the Buncombe County Extension Office, 94 Coxe Ave. Free. May program: rhododendrons and azaleas. Free. Info: 255-5522.

• Sat, April 13 : Compost Demonstration and Plant Clinic

  2nd & 4th SATURDAYS, 11am-2pm - Compost demonstrations will focus on establishing compost piles and bins for home gardens. Held outside Jesse Israel Garden Center, 570 Brevard Road. Free.

  2nd & 4th SATURDAYS, 11am-2pm - Compost demonstrations will focus on establishing compost piles and bins for home gardens. Held outside Jesse Israel Garden Center, 570 Brevard Road. A plant clinic is also available. Bring plant samples for evaluation. Free.

  MONDAYS through THURSDAYS, 9:30am-3:30pm & FRIDAYS, 9:30am-12:30pm - The Master Gardener Hotline will accept gardening questions via phone and in-person. Info: 255-5522 or buncombemastergardener.org.
