Meals on Wheels issues call for pet food help

Most people know that the Meals on Wheels nonprofit is an important source of hot, nutritious meals for elderly members of our community. But they also collect and distribute pet food to low income seniors who might otherwise share meals meant for them with their four-legged friends, who are often their only constant companions.

Meals on Wheels recently put out a call to the community, announcing they were in desperate need of pet food to share. Many businesses and individuals have heeded the call, including Element Advertising, which recently delivered 50 bags of dog food to the nonprofit (see photo below).
