Specializing in trip hop, electronica, chillwave, dreampop and experimental bass music since 2000, Theresa Amandi has worked with top artists: Massive Attack, Radiohead, Supreme Beings of Leisure, Wax Tailor, Erykah Badu, Thievery Corporation, Groove Armada, Santessa, The Pharcyde, Brazilian Girls, Little Dragon, DJ Icey, Kaskade, Passion Pit, Phoenix, and Friendly Fires.
In 2007 she began working for The Recording Academy's Florida Chapter producing events and developing their community outreach and has produced and hosted shows for Plum TV and The Beach Channel. She is a guest speaker at the University of Miami's Music Business School and has been a featured panelist for the Winter Music Conference. Her largest production to date has been as Earthdance Miami Producer, the largest global synchronized music festival in the world, from 2005-2009. In 2011 Theresa worked with New Line Cinema and Ellen Jacoby Casting as a casting assistant producer for the summer release Rock of Ages while most notably turning down a part to star in a topless scene with Tom Cruise as The Groupie. In 2012 she officially launched Bombshell-ter Radio on AshevilleFM and in the summer of 2013, Theresa starred in XOAVL's award-winning 48 Hour Film Sam Knows.
She is A&R Director for the artist relations and promotions company MEAD Releases, the voice of the Mountain Xpress CalCast and hosts Bombshell-ter Radio every Tuesday afternoon 3-5PM EST on Asheville FM. She plays the music that makes you go - boom.
