Dr. Helen Caldicott speaking in Asheville about radiation effects one year after Japan disaster

Nobel Peace nominee Dr. Helen Caldicott spoke to a packed house at the First Congregational Church of Asheville, on Wednesday, April 11.

“Dr. Caldicott, a physician, author and environmental activist, is one of the world’s foremost experts on the effects of radiation on the human body. In this talk she addresses what has actually happened (and continues to happen) at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident in Japan, as well its medical, environmental, political and moral consequences.” [press release from the Canary Coalition]

    This is such an important video to watch – thank you for giving it to us that couldn’t get to the church. Take the time to watch this, and pass it on to everyone you know. This is really needed.
