A few hours ago a new Facebook page was set up to support Asheville Police Department Forensic Technician Lynn Fraser who posted deragotory comments about Occupy Asheville protesters. Fraser is currently on “non disciplinary paid investigative suspension.”

They’re going to be busier deleting those comments that they don’t like than they probably thought they’d be. Most of what’s in screenshots here seems to be gone now.

Oh, irony, thy name is Lynn Fraser. Send her packing if she finds that people expressing their First Amendment rights is so repugnant a proposition to her.

It seems that Ms. Fraser takes a very dim view of those seeking to exercise their First Amendment rights. I don’t see how she can be credible in a job where recognition of civil liberties and civil rights is a key concept designed for smooth and proper operations. Send her into the unemployment line and maybe she will develop some much needed empathy for those who feel that their government is no longer responsive to the needs of its people.

Ahh, isn’t that special? A Facebook page that is designed to support Fraser by deleting any and all views inconsistent with theirs. That’ll show ’em!
