More Sushi for south Asheville

South Asheville continues to prove that it is the next frontier for Asheville restaurants. According to sources close to Xpress, Green Tea is about to open up a south Buncombe location in the old Moe’s Burritos storefront, in Gerber Village. Calls to the original Regent Park location a south Buncombe location. Server Meg Triebwasser was not able to pinpoint the exact location of the expansion, but she was able to report that Green Tea South would be located on Hendersonville Rd, “not very far down” the road from Asheville.
The new spot, said Triebwasser, will have “the same menu, but twice the space.” It will, she continued, look like a more “modern version of the original Green Tea.” She added that the new location is slated to open before the summer.
