Support Williams for district attorney

The first time I met Todd Williams was in front of the Asheville Brewing Co. on Coxe Avenue about eight years ago. He was on one of his many bike rides through downtown, and we chatted about cycling and beer – two topics near and dear to our hearts.

Over the years I’ve come to know Todd as a man of high integrity and intelligence. Unlike the incumbent, Todd has a streak of intellectual curiosity that allows him to fully research, internalize and act confidently on complex issues. Williams wants to refocus the district attorney’s office – and he has the knowledge and background to make it happen.

Todd stood up for the working poor as a public defender and has a proven track record of commitment to fighting for the most vulnerable in our society. There is no doubt he will stand up for us as DA and restore fairness and integrity to that office.
