Democracy equals choice and I choose democracy

Gosh, am I glad that reader David Cole pointed out that there are still lots of “communists” out there [“Capitalists Strike Back,April 13 Xpress]. I haven’t seen or even heard about a communist in forever. I thought they’d gone out of business since Ronald Reagan whipped the USSR all by himself.

But now I know that the evil critters are still lurking about — probably in college, in businesses, why, even in politics.

I’m glad to know that us red-blooded real Americans have a choice of government: That is what democracy is all about, as the founding fathers knew well.
