Some problems in life are large and some are small. The small things, however, can add up to bigger deals. Pennies, for one good thing. Chinese water torture for a bad one. A noisy sleep environment is detrimental enough that such deprivation has also been used in place of armaments to gain cooperation from besieged criminals and recipients of enhanced interrogation techniques.

Alas, pity the nomad who finds his complaints of current residency conditions fall upon unsympathetic ears.
