  WEDNESDAYS, SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS, 10am-1pm - Outward Hounds invites the public to take adoptable dogs on local hikes. Meets at BWAR, 31 Glendale Ave. Free.

  WE (5/29), 6-8pm - A bird feeder workshop will focus on construction and native bird calls. Call for cost.

• 06/01: Fiber Feel Day

• 06/08: Mountain Safari

  SA (6/8), 6-9pm - Friends of the WNC Nature Center will host Mountain Safari, a "one-of-a-kind social adventure." "Dress in your best safari gear and party with the animals." Featuring special entertainment, a raffle and silent auction, food and drink. $35/$30 members/$15 children ages 3 to 15.
