Organizers have announced that once again Asheville will be the site of a “GoTopless” rally on Sunday, Aug. 26, which is also national Women’s Equality Day.
You may know that Molly Sara Rosch was arrested for indecent exposure at Sunday’s “Asheville Rally to Protect Our Children from Abuse” — stripping down to just her crucifix and shoes — but what you likely don’t know is why she did it.
Former Buncombe County Republican Party chair Chad Nesbitt announced today on WWNC radio’s “The Matt Mittan Show” that he’s planning an Aug. 28 rally in downtown Asheville to protest the Aug. 21 GoTopless rally. He said the demonstration will be held at 2 p.m. in Pack Square Park and invited the public to attend.
