MG Road got punked last Monday night. Monster movie posters were slapped on the walls, the lights were covered in red filters, two round red Chinese lanterns were hung above the tables near the front windows and the soundtrack was decidedly more raucous than relaxing.
The local pop-punk band signs with indie-label Little Heart Records and gears up for the release of its EP, “Late Nights and Long Drives.” The album drops on Feb. 19 with a party at the Boiler Room on Friday, Feb. 15.
Three bands. Two-and-one-half sets. There was spilled beer, broken glass and blood. The fans loved it.
