This weekend, Leslie Klingner (furniture expert and curator of interpretation at the Biltmore Estate), led two tours of the Thomas Wolfe Memorial’s antiques. The event was part of the NC Department of Cultural Resources’ Second Saturdays programming.
The favored-but-defunct local band rose like a legend from the ‘90s, its members going on to find success in other projects (Crooked Fingers, Superchunk). And now they’re back together, embarking on a reunion tour that launches from the Grey Eagle next month.
