City Green Lights Vets
In honor of Veterans Day, the City of Hendersonville will participate in the “Green Light a Vet” program in which a light in a visible location at a house or facility is changed to green in a show of appreciation and support for our veterans. Starting Thursday evening and ending Monday the 14th, the lights that shine on the front of City Hall will be shaded to put a green hue on the building. Also, the City Operations sign will be lit in green at the Williams St location as well as the lights on the flags at the Southside Gateway Park at S Main and Church St. Additionally, there will be a permanent location to be determined at City Hall and the Operations Center for ongoing support of this cause. In addition all City offices will be closed on Friday, November 11th to observe Veteran’s Day.
