Press release:
The Holiday Flea For Y’all
Saturday, December 3, at the WNC AG Center Davis Arena, The Holiday Flea For Y’all brings over 150 vendors from across the southeast for a holiday retail extravaganza. This show features vintage items, collectibles, antiques, and a variety of local handmade art with the gift giving season in mind. Thousands of buyers, decorators, designers, collectors, and cheap skates alike attend hunting for treasure, junk, re-imagined antiques, and oddities.
The Asheville Flea For Y’all is currently taking last minute vendor applications. There are only a few spaces still available. Acceptable wares are vintage, antique, handmade art, mid century modern, industrial, and lots of in between. No reproduction, import, new merchandise, or firearms allowed.
Make plans to visit the Holiday Flea For Y’all to find the most unusual and amazing gifts for your shopping list. Asheville has become well known for restaurants, craft beers, and unique shopping experiences. It is a perfect place for an overnight or day-trip shopping.
Christi and Simon Whiteley of Eldorado Mid Century Modern and Robert and Rebecca Nicholas of Splurge, partnered to create this one-of-a-kind event inspired by nostalgia for the Dreamland Flea Market (closed permanently in the late 90s.)
“I’ve sold my handmade designs and vintage finds at several shows in the area. The Flea For Y’all leads the way… with a great mixture of knowledgeable dealers of vintage, antiques, and unique handmade goods. I’ve made great business connections and great friends while vending at this show.” – Amber Hatchet, Designer
“The energy always rocks… the best, bar none, market to sell at!” – Kim Setzer, Mountain Jypsy Junker
