Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office looking for suspect using stolen checks

Press release from Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office:

(February 8, 2022)  – Fraud Detectives with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office are seeking information on the individual or vehicles pictured below. This individual has been seen at multiple banking institutions in Asheville, Black Mountain, Kings Mountain and Marion, North Carolina using stolen checks. This individual is also a person of interest in several car break-ins on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville, in Fairfield County, SC and Cherokee County, NC. She may have ties to the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area.

If any information is available on the identity of this individual or these vehicles, please contact Detective T. Jones with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office at 828-250-4448 or submit a tip via the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office app, which can be downloaded in the Apple or Google Play stores.
