Press release from Haywood County:

If your road, bridge, or culvert providing access to your home or property was damaged by Helene, please fill out the form below to report it.
Important:
  • Do not use this form to report damage to your home or structure. For that, please call 828-452-6638.
  • County assessment teams will follow up to help with next steps like building footbridges, temporary access, and referrals for long-term solutions.
  • Teams will also be traveling in affected areas starting October 18, 2024, making assessments on the spot.
If you need assistance with the form, call 828-356-2020 to report your damage by phone.
