ACT stages The Man Who Came to Dinner

The Man Who Came to Dinner is a chaotic comedy about the worst house guest in the history of house guests. When the outspoken and pretentious critic Sheridan Whiteside slips at his host’s doorstep, his evening visit turns into an extended stay. The invalid sets up shop in the home’s main room, forcing the family to reorganize their lives and routines based around his needs. Ever demanding and tireless in his schemes, Whiteside’s presence stirs unintended consequences for everyone who crosses his path. Susan Harper, executive director of Asheville Community Theatre, calls the play’s writing “delicious.”

Tickets are available online, over the phone, or in person at the Asheville Community Theatre box office. The play runs until Sunday, April 24 with performances on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2:30 pm. $22 adults/$19 for seniors and students/$12 children. ashevilletheatre.org

The caption on that photo doesn’t seem to relate to what’s happening in the photo. And what IS happening in the photo? What are they staring at? What does this have to do with the play?

My apologies, this was the caption provided by the theatre. We will have this corrected soon.
