“For centuries — literally — folks have been following the French Broad River into Madison County to hear the finest in traditional music,” says the Madison County Arts Council in a press release. The tradition continues at the eighth annual Fiddlers of Madison County event to benefit the arts council. This year’s show features regional talents Arvil Freeman, Grammy Award-winner, Bobby Hicks with Adam Masters in a show of twin fiddling, Roger Howell, Josh Goforth and The Sons of Ralph, featuring Ralph Lewis. The Junior Appalachian Musicians will also perform at an show. The fiddlers take the stage on Saturday, March 15, at 3 and 7:30 p.m. at the Madison County Arts Center in Marshall. $20. madisoncountyarts.com. Photo courtesy of the arts council
