Smart Bets: Two Fresh and Paper Tiger

The upcoming installment of Asheville Brewing Company's electronic music series includes two local bands on the Orange Peel stage: Two Fresh and Paper Tiger. Hip-hop/electronic outfit Two Fresh (twin brothers Kendrick and Sherwyn Nicholls) spend most of their time criss-crossing the country on a nonstop tour. With producers Jables and Bookworm, they established Asheville's Lab Coat beat collective. Trip-hop outfit Paper Tiger (pictured here), all lush sound scapes and down-tempo beats, is working on a next album and sharing stages with the likes of Bonobo and Marley Carroll. Show time is 9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6. $10 in advance or $12 day or show.

It only takes a moment.
