Clare & the Reasons (Clare Muldaur Manchon)

Describe (in detail) your best Halloween costume.
When I was 5, I was a toothbrush and my sister was toothpaste. We won the prize, my mom made it for us, there was a lot of cardboard and paint involved.

What would you rather be: a zombie or a robot?
Robot, for sure. My arms would get very tired if I had to hold them up and out for as long as a zombie is required to do, no fun.

If you could ask Bob Moog one question, what would it be?
blip bleep eekk doink?

What's your favorite Halloween-related song?
“Monster Mash,” of course!

Have you ever seen a ghost, or had any other paranormal experience?
Everyday man… everyday…

What is your favorite piece of Moog gear?
MoogerFooger Analog delay, and Little Phatty.

What is your favorite album (ever) that features a Moog instrument?
Walter/Wendy album Switched on Bach.

What was your craziest/most memorable Halloween night?
Last year, we had a gig, it was terrible, there was a woman there with pit bulls (about 3) and swastikas tattooed on her neck, it was not a costume, we were terrified. We had to go, far away.

What's your favorite candy (and why)?
I was raised in a garden basically, surrounded by honeybees, so I don't eat candy, but I like carob, yes, carob.
