Big fun at Big Love

We’re worn out from all the Big Love yesterday. Talk about a successful first year: thousands of people turned out for the festival, a celebration of all things local and independent. Pack Square Park was, well, packed with indie crafters, home-brew quaffers, energetic dancers and revelers of every stripe.

Music: “Skeleton Crew” by Kovacs and the Polar Bear.

And here’s a fun look at Big Love from freelance videographer Eric Crews:

I was unable to attend as a vendor this year, as I had already accepted a show in West Palm Beach, FL. While I was there, a woman walked by my booth & stopped when she saw I was from Asheville. She came in & said, “What are you doing down here? You’re missing the Lovefest!”

If this is a “Big Love” fest, shouldn’t each groom have three or more wives?
