Local jazz buskers Mario Piccolo (guitar, vocals), Drayton (fiddle) and Steve Karla (guitar) have performed in various combinations with other local groups on stages and street corners around Asheville, but this is the first time all three have performed together for Busk Break. Here, they cover that classic Duke Ellington and Irving Mills jazz standard “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)” in front of the Woolworth Walk on a surprisingly warm January day.
