Busk Break: Will And Clarence

Hailing from Sandy Mush, buskers Will and Clarence aren’t exactly worried about promoting themselves at the moment. They don’t have any recordings you can buy. They don’t have a website you can go to for more information. They’re even a bit reluctant to share their last names. But at least their talent matches their taste in covers. Here’s their version of the Jimmy Rogers tune “That’s All Right.”

Although I’m not a busker fan, these two guys have an appealing quality and seem to have a lot of musical skill. Maybe you can persuade them to promote themselves a little more and get a fan base.

  2. We talked about that briefly when I recorded their performance, and I got the impression that self-promotion was something of a new idea for them. It’s often surprised me how many highly talented local musicians lack even a MySpace or Reverbnation profile to help people find their music.
