Celebrate the holidays with Xpress and see a remarkable art exhibit!

Xpress is proud to announce the 2007 Holiday Guide Cover Art Contest Exhibit! At the onset of the holiday season, Xpress called on artists of all ages to submit designs for our five holiday guide covers. This year we were delighted to receive more than 50 submissions from adults and children alike. Each and every one captures the spirit of the holidays in a special way.

Join us for the exhibit’s opening reception Friday, Dec. 7, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Asheville Community Theatre. Treats and holiday refreshments will be served. There will also be live, Celtic-inspired music by Tim Potts.

The Montford Park Players’ annual production of A Christmas Carol will begin at 7:30 p.m. and tickets for this holiday classic are available at the A.C.T. box office.

The 2007 Holiday Guide Cover Art Contest Exhibit will be on display from December 4th through January 2nd.  If you can’t make it to the opening, please stop by the gallery at A.C.T or visit our online art gallery and see just how creative holiday art can be.
