That was such a great show. I bought a ticket just based on hearing people talk about them for years and a couple songs I listened to online. I am not familiar with their music at all so I can’t really comment on what songs they played (they did say a couple of the songs were new). I can say that the energy was really good and the band held the audience in the palm of their hand for 2+ hours. I was also impressed with the trading off of instruments. It seemed like everyone onstage could play just about every instrument onstage. Very well executed. The only other band I’ve seen do this to this extent was Tortoise a few years ago (who coincidentally plays tonight!).
