Blues and roots-rock collective River Rats started as a duo and quickly expanded to a six-piece. And, although they’re relatively new on the local music scene, the band will be playing the Friday night opening slot at DIG Festival (on the Asheville Music Hall stage).
Here, Scotchie plays “Tired Soul” and talks about the evolution of his band, their recent Barnaroo Bootleg release (which will be available at the Friday show) and Scotchie’s DIG Fest picks.
