Definitely want to mention here that the picture shown above was sent to us by constant reader (and now constant listener) Jeremy Dylan. He also sent us some questions for next week’s episode.

For anyone curious, Ken’s the gorilla who looks like he’s pantomiming playing the piano.

Really? The other one looked tubbier, so I thought it was me. Those gorilla suits are slimming.

Nice design work. He sure does seem to be one cool Aussie – it’s too bad about the whole distance thing.

Well, he does appear to be a little more cranky. The other one seems just a little too happy about the whole gorilla suit thing. (Not that I can really blame him.)

Hey, the Blues Brothers was a great movie based on an SNL skit!

Forgot about that one — maybe because I don’t think of them as a skit. Anyway, any movie with Cab Calloway in it is okay by me.

Damn skippy (whatever that really means?) – I love The Blues Brothers.

I don’t know. It’s something I used to say around 1970 whenever that Australian children’s TV show about the “boosh kangaroo” came on.

It was impossible to resist. Have you ever heard the “Skippy the Boosh Kangaroo” song? Where is Jeremy when you need him?

I was convinced that Minnie the Moocher number was the coolest thing I’d ever seen, which it pretty much was (I was thirteen when I watched the film).

Where is Jeremy when you need him?
I was in the city all yesterday, with my laptop but no internet access. On the way in, I listened to the podcast and the reissue of Exile on Main St, then on the way back, I watched THE PHILADELPHIA STORY.

A little before my time, I’m afraid.

Why thank you, Mr Roberts. And yes, it is indeed a shame. But I’m training up for that 15,916 mile walk from my place to the Carolina Asheville.

Once again, wonderful work on the podcast gentlemen. A little snappier than the first episode and wonderful banter throughout.

That puts us in pretty illustrious company.

So are Exile on Main Street and The Philadelphia Story, come to that. Some kind soul pointed out that Skippy is on YouTube in some capacity.

Just envision Justin in a nice summery dress with a big floppy hat like Hepburn at the end of The Philadelphia Story.

I don’t suppose when can expect any more monkey business illustrations this week.

I’ll see what I can do.

That puts us in pretty illustrious company.
I’m trying to work out whether you’re Cary Grant and Justin is Jimmy Stewart – or the other way round. I’m not sure who’s Katharine Hepburn in this analogy though.

Definitely I’m Cary Grant (or maybe Roland Young).

I think I’m more the Ruth Hussey type.

Ken plans on dying with a ham hock lodged in his throat

You’ve been reading the special Nikita Kruschev edition of How to Win Friends and Influence People again, I see.

15. Piffy!

no, no, it was The Jason Bugg edition.

Are you saying that isnt what you meant by being like a late-era brando?

16. Ken Hanke

Perhaps Steve Shanafelt is Hepburn? or Henry Daniell?

I think Daniell, definitely.

17. Ken Hanke

it was The Jason Bugg edition

Possibly, but after a rocky start, Mr. Bugg and I put aside our differences and he never used the approach on me.

Are you saying that isnt what you meant by being like a late-era brando?

Let us say, not entirely. And certainly nothing involving a ham hock.

18. Piffy!

oh, no, i would just assume you would want the whole thing. but pace yourself this time.

19. Ken Hanke

I’m thinking of a word, but the Xpress censorship mechanism turns it into #### whenever it gets anywhere near it.

Well, since in theory there will one day be a video, you may have merely had a glimpse into the future.
