Hanson returns to the Orange Peel

The Orange Peel just announced that pop group Hanson will return to Asheville for a Friday, July 30 show.

Says Wikipedia, “Hanson is an American pop rock band formed in Tulsa, Oklahoma by brothers Isaac, Taylor, and Zac Hanson. They are best known for the 1997 hit song ‘MMMBop’ from their major label debut album Middle Of Nowhere, which earned three Grammy nominations.” Youngest sibling Zac was only 11 when Middle of Nowhere was released.

The band last played Asheville during the spring of 2008; the events was documented by Xpress staffer Aiyanna Sezak-Blatt.
