Joey Cape plays a solo show in Asheville

We’ve gotten a few emails about this show, and it’s definitely worth checking out.

Tomorrow night at the Grey Eagle, Joey Cape will play a solo show (one of only two he’s doing this summer, and one of those is a private event). He’s the former frontman for punk band Lagwagon, and was a member of the cover band/punk supergroup Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.

Asheville’s Matt Evans (who alternates between thrashing with punk band Just Die! and writing and singing sweet and lovely acoustic songs) will open the show.

The show is at 9 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. More info at
