Look Up Asheville exhibit

Asheville-based photographer Michael Oppenheim (perhaps best-known for his thoughtful wedding imagery) showcases his talent for capturing architecture on film in the exhibit Look Up Asheville. This body of work is from a forthcoming book (to be published by Grateful Steps) of the same name. The show features 13 pictures using a “gallery wrap” technique, where the image is printed on canvas and stretched over a frame.

View Oppenheim’s photography at Lola Salon (60 Biltmore Ave., Asheville) through November. The opening (that means drinks, refreshments and an impromptu post-work week, pre-weekend party feel) runs from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7.
