Smart Bets web extra: Trashion show

For the second year, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue and Trash Inc. team up for a Trashion Show: A runway show of recycled apparel from local designers. “Trashion combines trash and fashion, encouraging everyone to re-think the beauty of re-use,” says press for the show. “Models will walk the runway showcasing locally designed clothing made from upcycled materials, accompanied by special quadruped guest models from Brother Wolf!”

The event takes place on Saturday, Nov. 19, 7-10 p.m. at the WNC Community Center (312 Haywood Rd., West Asheville). Tickets are $10 and benefit homeless pets.
