Video A-Go-Go: The Natural World, YouTubed

If you’re up on your internet memes, chances are you’ll understand why seeing a double rainbow over downtown Asheville is worthy of posting a YouTube video about. But the question remains unanswered: “What does it mean?”

Natural wonders hardly stop at double rainbows here in Asheville. For instance, have you considered the joys of urban fly fishing? Path Less Pedaled‘s Russ Roca shows us that even a small catch under a local bridge can be the hallmark of a day well spent.

More interested in getting in the water than pulling things out of it? How about a little virtual kayaking journey? Here’s video from a trip down the Upper Green River near Asheville which doesn’t require you to get even a little bit damp.

We’ve covered this topic before, but a good zip-line video is hard to pass up in a week with a nature theme. Here’s the first-person perspective from the zip line at Navitat Canopy Adventures near Asheville.

And sticking with this week’s theme as much as possible, here’s a DIY, greenery-showing music video by Brian McGee performing “Walking Back To Love” from his new album The Taking Or The Leaving.

Each week, dozens upon dozens of interesting local videos are uploaded to YouTube. It’s a lot to keep up with. Did we miss a particularly interesting, recently uploaded local video? Share it by leaving the video’s URL (but not the embed code) in the comment fields below. Also, please mark it Not Work Safe if there’s any controversial content to the video.
