Wheels of fury: Blue Ridge Rollergirls

In case you weren’t there on Friday, the Blue Ridge Rollergirls wrapped up their home season with an intra-league bout between the Candy Apple Razorblades and the Wham-Bam Thank You Ma’ams.

As always, the action was exciting as a couple of hundred fans crowded the outdoor hockey rink at Carrier Park. In the end, the Razorblades took the victory, making up for their June loss to the Wham Bams.

But the action isn’t over for the BRRG travel team, in which the league’s most experienced skaters go up against rollergirls in other towns. The next bout is against the Rogue Rollergirls in Fayetteville, NC and the BRRG want to see you there.
