In preparation for the Asheville Area Arts Council’s Red Ball (June 24), check out the Red Ball Fashion Show at the Market Place (20 Wall St.) for hints on what to wear. The event kicks off at 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, with wearables from local boutiques and designs by the likes of R. Brooke Priddy, Kelledy Francis and MakeMe! Fabrics. Tickets are $10 at the door or in advance at the Arts Council; info at 258-0710.
