Designer Rachel Stack has been putting in too many late nights, trying to complete her collection which she hopes to sell at that other fashion week: Bonnaroo. But while flowing skirts, halter tops and loose-fitting unisex cropped pants are perfect attire for festival fans, Stack’s creations may well have a higher calling. High-end elements like fine fabrics, spare lines and earthy hues off-set by shimmering jewel tones and detailed trims seem every bit as appropriate in designer boutiques as on the concert circuit. The local artist (who favors luxurious-yet-hearty materials like raw silk and linen) also crafts one-off bags in supple leather and makes her own stencils, inspired by fossil mollusks and Balinese shadow puppets. Contact Stack for customized orders at 337-9855 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or shop her line at Rags Reborn Eco Chic Boutique (1 Walnut St., 253-4488).
