The Minneapolis-based band Poliça will be performing at The Mothlight on Sunday, May 1, in support of its third album, United Crushers. The album builds on the band’s signature synthesizer and percussion-heavy sounds.  NPR‘s Andy Battaglia describes United Crushers as a crosscurrent of “charged, sometimes dark lyrical content and antic, dancey energy.”

Though the show is sold out at press time, “The Lowertown Line” series producer David Roth shared this mini-documentary for fans to enjoy.
