From event organizers:

The 14th Annual Mountain Wildlife Days Festival will be held July 14 and 15 at the Sapphire Valley Resort in Sapphire, North Carolina.

This is a unique wildlife education event that is suitable for both children and adults. The website is: mountainwildlifedays.com. In addition to the MWD event, our silent auction provides funds for Wildlife Education programs at schools and other organizations in Western North Carolina.

We are very pleased, this year our programs were attended by over 2,000 students and adults in Western North Carolina, a record for our Mountain Wildlife Outreach. Sponsors and facilities provided by the Sapphire Valley Resort make this an affordable for both local and visitors to the area. Children are admitted free, with parents.
