From the Asheville Citizen-Times: Aubrey Gerrard Green, 27, resigned on Dec. 7, city spokeswoman Dawa Hitch said Wednesday. He had been on paid administrative leave since his arrest Nov. 9. Green is charged with two counts of misdemeanor child abuse and assault on a child under 12. All three charges are misdemeanors.
