The Asheville Police Department has charged Nathaniel Elijah Dixon with 1st Degree Murder of an Unborn Child. Dixon was taken into custody in Columbus, Ohio on the evening of Thursday, May 12th and charged with 1st Degree Murder, Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Child Abuse resulting in Serious Bodily Injury for the murder of Candace Elaine Pickens and attempted murder of her son, Zachaeus Latese Waters.
