ABCCM holds beam signing at Transformation Village on Aug. 18

Press release from Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry:

WHAT: Family and friends of ABCCM will take part in a ceremonial beam-signing on Sunday, Aug. 18, at 3 p.m. at ABCCM’s Transformation Village. After signing, the beam will be lifted into its place at the highest point of the rapidly-rising Transformation Community Center, on track to become one of the biggest human service and economic game changers for Buncombe County and the region. Transformation Village will provide a solution for homeless Veteran women, women and children by offering a safe and stable environment where their lives can be transformed. We will work with the most vulnerable women and children to give them the education and skills to take giant steps out of poverty into productive living wage jobs and permanent homes.
