AC-T: Asheville’s Black College Museum + Arts Center to expand

Here’s an excerpt from the Asheville Citizen-Times article:

More than 80 years after the groundbreaking Black Mountain College opened, the Asheville-based museum and arts center dedicated to the progressive arts school’s legacy is opening a new space.

The Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center will more than double its physical presence in downtown Asheville with an expansion in the nearby The Center for Craft Creativity and Design (CCCD).

The expansion, which will come with increased programming and educational opportunities, will be funded by a three-year Windgate Charitable Foundation award of $646,685.
