Aloft Asheville hosts Jan. 18 “Wrecking Ball” party to kick off renovation

WHAT: To celebrate the recent kick-off of the hotel’s renovation, Aloft Asheville Downtown invites you to toast to their new beginnings with drinks, DJs and lots of destruction at the W XYZ Wrecking Ball Party, sponsored by Highland Brewery and WNC Billiards.

During the event, the hotel will be auctioning off its pool table and will be selling discounted furniture from the bar and lobby to benefit Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina.

Aloft Asheville Downtown, owned and managed by McKibbon Hospitality, opened in 2012 and is updating all soft goods in the hotel, including carpeting, bedspreads, seating and fabrics. The hotel will remain open during the renovation, which is expected to be complete this March.
