Aloft Asheville’s Live@Aloft Series benefits Asheville Area Arts Council, Sept. 24

Press release:

The most scenic live music series in town returns on September 24th when Aloft Asheville Downtown hosts its next Sundays Live@Aloft event from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. featuring live entertainment from The Caribbean Cowboys. The official band of the Western North Carolina Parrot Head Club, the Caribbean Cowboys play a mix of classic rock, Southern rock, rhythm and blues, beach music, reggae, bluegrass and country. The event is open to the public and a suggested $5 donation will benefit the Asheville Area Arts Council. Guests can enjoy local craft brews from Oskar Blues and cocktails and light snacks from the W XYZ Bar.

“The Live@Aloft concerts are always a wonderful opportunity for guests to enjoy great music, stunning mountain views and delicious refreshments while supporting a local organization,” said David McCartney, general manager of Aloft Asheville Downtown. “We are excited to host a benefit concert for the Asheville Area Arts Council, one of the oldest art councils in the country and an important member of the Asheville community.”

The Asheville Area Arts Council is the collective voice for the arts in Asheville, advancing Buncombe County by delivering resources, developing innovative collaborations, and fostering creativity in the community. The Council’s programs support artists with grant and educational opportunities and create more accessibility to the arts.
