AmiciMusic teams with Apollo Winds to present WIND POWER

AmiciMusic presents “WIND POWER” with The Apollo Winds and pianist Daniel Weiser collaborating on great woodwind sextets and more by Poulenc, Thuille, and Dring. This program will showcase the wonderful blends and textures of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, french horn, and piano performing some fantastic music that is rarely heard live. The Apollo Winds is Carolina’s premier Wind Quintet comprised of Judi Lampert, flute; Terri Armfield, oboe; Gary Spaulding, clarinet; Milton Crotts, bassoon, and Mike Brubaker, french horn.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 31 at 7:30 PM at the new and acoustically wonderful Master Works Theater at 2314 Asheville Highway (in the Blue Ridge Plaza) in Hendersonville. This is a great intimate space perfect for chamber music. Cost is $20 for adults and free for children. Tickets available at the door or purchase online at www.amicimusic.org.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2 at 3:00PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Asheville at 1 Edwin Place in the Grove Park area of Asheville. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for Church members, and free for kids. Tickets available at the door or purchase online at www.amicimusic.org.
