Asheville, NC (May 17, 2018): The Asheville Police Department is excited to announce a new online system for locating towed vehicles. If your vehicle has been towed by APD you can locate it by visiting www.findmytow.com and search by license plate or VIN number. The system will locate your vehicle and provide you with the following information:
- impound date;
- location the vehicle was towed from;
- reason for towing; and
- where your vehicle was towed to (name, location and contact information for the towing company).
Prior to the implementation of this new online system, anyone who had their vehicle towed was required to come to the Asheville Police Department and speak with our Police Information Desk. This new system provides convenient and easy access for locating a towed vehicle.
