APD News Release: Missing Person – Melinda Carbanaro

News release from Asheville Police Department:

Asheville, NC (Dec. 3, 2021): Asheville Police Department (APD) needs your help in locating a missing person.

Melinda Carbanaro, 36, of Asheville, has been reported missing by her family. She was last heard by her mother on Oct. 22 and stated that she was traveling in the Asheville area when she had car troubles and was possibly stranded.

Melinda is described at 5’ 7”, weighing 140 pounds.  She has hazel eyes and brown hair.  She has multiple tattoos on her back and neck, including the name, “Marilynn” on the back of her neck/upper back.

If anyone has any information about her whereabouts, please share with the Asheville Police Department with an anonymous tip using the TIP2APD smartphone application (search “Asheville PD” in your app store) or by texting TIP2APD to 847411. You can also contact APD at (828) 252-1110.
