APD seeks info on Tunnel Road stabbing

Press release from the Asheville Police Department:

A man was stabbed multiple times in his back near 190 Tunnel Road. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect left the scene before officers arrived. The incident happened just after 11:00 p.m. on July 8.
Detectives are investigating this incident, but need your help. If you would like to anonymously share information you can text TIP2APD to 847411, or use the TIP2APD smartphone app. You can also share information by calling 828-252-1110.
This is the 23rd person in Asheville that has been injured as a result of a stabbing since Jan. 1, 2021.
