APD, US Marshals arrest Chesapeake, Va. murder suspect

Full announcement from the Asheville Police Department:

On August 15, 2012 Detectives in Chesapeake VA, investigated a suspicious death of a 16 month old girl. It was later determined that the girl’s father, Floyd William Logan VI was responsible for her death and indictments were issued for his arrest for murder and child abuse. On December 14, 2012 – Asheville PD Officers and US Marshal’s from the Western District of North Carolina received information today that Logan was in the Asheville Area. Officers found Logan at his girlfriends house on Jeffress Ave and took him into custody. Logan is being held on a fugitive warrant in the Buncombe County Detention Facility with no possibility of being released on bond.
