Art on the Wall Studios of Hendersonville to hold grand opening, June 2

Led by a quartet of local artists, Art on the Wall Studios of Hendersonville (415 N. Wall Street) will hold its grand opening on Saturday, June 6, from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.

“It’s not always what you create in the studio, but what you can create with the community,” writes art contributor Pam Segal in an event release. “Art on the Wall Studios invites creative input from the community to add to their own creations. [The Studio offers] critiques, space to show work, monthly openings and a forum on how to gather much needed help for high school boys and girls who need art supplies and mentoring.”

For the opening festivities, Art on the Wall will feature multiple local artists working in a diverse array of mediums — group painting, sculpture, fiber arts and jewelry, to name a few. Appetizers and wine will accompany the raffle and music.
